Soon the trees will start to get their leaves, the flowers will peek out of the ground, and the boats will be uncovered. We will all start to work on commissioning our boats; cleaning, waxing and everything else that needs to be done. “Deanna J” needs to have her rudder repaired again this year.
The Clinton River Catalina Club has a full season planned, starting with Our Commodore’s Ball on March 25. The Ball is a good time get together to talk sailing and discuss summer plans.
Our cruising season starts June 10 with a trip to Windsor. Windsor is always a favorite cruise. We have seven additional cruises planned. The racing season will be in full swing by June. I want to welcome all new members, and returning members, racers and cruisers. I hope you will join in on the many planned events that we offer.
