We have had a good sailing season. We will be thinking of covering our boats soon. The racers have had some beautiful weather for racing. The cruisers had a full schedule this year too. We had new members this year that participated in our activities. We were happy to have them. Some of our members went on extended trips this year, so all in all the club members were busy. We still have the pumpkin cruise. Glenn & Becky always do a great job of it.
Our next membership meeting will be at Kent Sails on November 11, at 1:30. Hope to see all of you there.

Barb Kurkowski - Social Chair
Thanks to all who participated in our social events for this past season and to all those who pitched in and helped make them a success! We had great turnouts at our Commodores Ball in March, The Fun Race/Picnic in June and the Invitational Race/Catered Dinner in August. A good time was had by all.
I am starting to work on the next Commodores’ Ball. It will be the club’s 20th Anniversary!!! Besides all members and their guests, I would like to invite past members to come and renew acquaintances. If anyone is still in contact with past members and could forward me their addresses (mail or e-mail), I will be sure to send them the info when it is time to send it out.

Superior Travel Log
If you haven’t looked at the daily log that Eric Locke wrote while he and Gayle were cruising Lake Superior, you can still do so. Linda and Chuck Reed have published the log on the CLR Marine web site. To follow the adventure go to: http://www.clrmarine.com/209.html.
Gayle and Eric are back in Lake St. Clair now so the chronicle is complete.
