Just because summer is winding down doesn’t mean our efforts to recruit new members should stop. Any new members enrolled after September 1 will be paid up through 2005. It’s sort of our version of a fall special. So talk up the club with Catalina owners and remember to look for possible sailing recruits. That might be the girl or boy next door, a grandchild or friend. We’re all familiar with the thrill of moving a boat with just the wind and personal skill. Surely some recruits will be hooked. Sailing just has to be more satisfying then pointing a power boat. |
